H22 Trans

Sup guys i was wonder what type of trans is the best h22 or h23. I was wondering if you could fit b18c5 trans with h22 engine. Because i heard that b18c5 is the best of all the honda trans. But i don't think it can be done. I swap would be done on a 97Accord.

B-series trannies won't fit anything except B-series engines.

The H22 tranny is best if you're planning on building a normally-aspirated engine, and the H23 tranny is best if you're planning on boosting.

lol b18c5 is an engine code, killer btw, why is everybody so fuckin hung up on the c5? whatever... anyhow, im running the si tranny while awaiting boost and it pulls rather hard in 3rd and 4th... very, hard.

I agree, the C5 is a great engine, but hell, you can get the same setup or better with a C1 and some aftermarket parts.

I think the apparent coolness factor comes from the car as a whole...the ITR is a wonderful machine, but it doesn't JUST consist of what's under the hood.
