today i was on my way to go to work and all of a sudden my car feels like it lost 10hp and woudnt rev past 3500 rpms. i looked under the hood, took all spark plug wires out and then back in and it seemed to be fixed. then 5min later it started again. i would turn it off then back on and it would fix it self but now that doesnt even work anymore. If i need to take it to a shop then thats ok but i wont have the money until a couple of days. Anyone know what the problem could be? thanks
 
well on my b18b1 I had a broken tps, and it wouldn't let me rev past 2500 ever, so I replaced it. Just check the voltage at the TPS, I think it should be .5 closed and 4.5 open
 
im thinking that it could either be the distributor cause it was making some sounds and i have yet to figure it out cause of school, fuel filter or what u said, tps.
