i started driving my h22 hatch and started to hear a whirring noise on 2nd gear and 3rd gear as i go but when i push the clutch in, it stops. can this be my throw-out bearing or my synchros. i've been busy this whole week with work that i didn't even got a chance to really look at my car, yet. so any info you guys out there might have, pls. feel free to reply. thanks in advance.

i would say throw out bearing but i am not a expert on trannys

check to make sure your fluid level is full also.

Did you replace the timing belt when you did the swap? Maybe it's an H22 thing, but when I dropped mine in, I had the same whirring noise. Went away after a while, I always thought it was related to the new timing belt.

i had that issue with my ef becaseu the cluth setup wasnt set properly and a line was weeked check all the line's that go to the shifter and trace them to the tranny...that did it for me...
