ok im getting a h22a (95) installed in my non-vtec 94 lude s with an Auto tranny,
got a new ecu to match,
but a guy at a honda shop said that since the lude with the h22a didn't come in automatic that he wasn't sure if the ecu was going to control both the tranny and the engine,(or that the engine light would stick on or the tranny would have probs) anyone ever done this or know about it/provide some info?

also, an article was saying a faulty autotensioner could jack up my new engine, (this is # 3 now, not gonna let that happen), could any body give me some info?
    thanks

there have been reports of improper shifting with the automatic tranny on the h22. ive never put an engine into an auto car, so ive had no experience troubleshooting the problem.

as for the tensioner, that is definitely a known issue. but there is a write up for it.
