h22a mystery component

hi im doin an h22a into a 92 accord lx. anyone tell me what this electronic vacuum controller thing located behind the oil filler cap is.

it hooks up to the vacuum line between the fuel press. regulator and the intake. i havent been able to find what it is on my wiring diagrams. anyone know? or is it just emissions crap. the f22 just has a hose going between the fuel press regulator and intake manifold. when i put this baby in id prefer not to set any codes.

Hey, that's my engine!!!!!

That piece was stock on my H22, but isn't on every engine. I cut it out completely since I had never wired it.

It's gone. No codes, no problems.
