Ok I'm ready to start installing my shift linkage. I know you have cut a hole in the floor in front of the old gear shift. But where do you the cut the hole for the shift cables to connect to tranny? Do you have to cut the firewall? I was told by someone if its not in the right spot the linkage will bind up.
