i have a h22a jdm if that maters . but i have herd of a manual timing belt tensioner. does anyone know anything about this? if so where can i get one? i would rather use that than the hydrolic. i have read that they go out around 60,000 miles
thanks
not it wont it will be ok! They tighten as the belt loosens! Replace it if you feel you need to when you change the belt.. but i can tell you if you dont have the little bracket to keep it closed when you do the timing belt... your going to get pretty pissed, when it slips and you have to retighten it up. and AHHH what a mess I remember when I did mine. I ended up breaking the belt tensioner..
