I have a 1990 honda accord i have been wanting to put a h22a in for a long time,
and the tranny just went out so i am gonna do it all at once but i keep hearing that it works best in 92 and up years ? is this true and if so would it work for a 90 ? it will be driving this car everyday. ? .

thanks thats what i thought since both the stock motor and the h22 are 2.2 L
i will prolly be buying it from streetimports.com have you heard anything about them ? what do you think it will run 1/4 mile with just that motor in it ? i don't think that i am gonna do much to it i just want it to last, so i'll have a second car.

And i keep hearing the understear is really bad with the h22a would it be bad in accord ? does anyone know where i can get some mounts and axles for cheap ?

No, the people who bitch about understeer being bad are talking about H22's in Civic. H22's BELONG in Accords. :) The H22 only weighs a few pounds more than an F22.
