Hi, I purchased a 92 Si with a swapped H22a4. I redid the wireharness after my mechanic stated it wasnt compatible with the car. Whoever swapped the engine used the OBD2 h22a4 harness because it was using an internal coil dizzy. Who knows how they got the car running like this but they did! I do know that the wires leading to ECU those connectors havent been touched as i compared with h22a1 lude.

A day before i did the wire swap, my starter cable from the batter to starter, kinda shorted and melted the cable. I was pulling into my house when this happened, but my car started to buckle and shake a bit. I bought a new cable and installed. at first it wasnt doing anything just making the starter smoke. I bought a new starter and it cranks the engine it just wont start now. Im wondering if i blew any fuses when that wire shorted and melted? im not sure which fuses would be linked to that??

Im getting a weak yellowish spark from the spark plugs. I can smell fuel from the exhaust when cranking too. Im just not sure of what else it could be.. I have search hours for this. Im a regular on preludepower and no one is able to assist there.

    Thanks in advance.

check your ignition fuse is under the hood right next to it youll see the battery relay or fuse check that then get new starter cable install it then check all your mian grounds to the motor see if they are tightened down thats all that i can think of right now if i come up with any other solutions ill let you know...

And make sure you have all your dizzy wires in order. The s/p plugs and the connectors also. And check the grounds and fueses first.
