alright guys, im new to the site.

first of all i have an h22a4 motor. obd2.

i was going to drop it in my ek hatch. but someone offered me a 1993 prelude with an h23 for my car. and i get to keep my h22. problem is that the seller said a couple valves are burnt, or the crank is going hes not sure. i dont know how they can mix this up. any way. how easy is it to drop the h22 obd2 into the obd1 car. or if it turns out to be the valves, how much work is inolved in bolting the vtec head on the h23.

its possible to do this ie: h22/h23. but imo its not worth the trouble and it would be alot cheaper to just get a diff motor. but to answer your question yes it will be possible.
 
so ya think it'll be easier for me to drop my h22 right in instead of the head swap. i heard h23 was closed deck.
