what do i need to change if i am going to vtec from non vtec?

why not just change the head?

oil pump went out on the h23 non vtec, threw a rod need to get back on the road so im looking at some h22a vtec on ebay just wandering what all i would need to change comp etc

you will need:

h22 motor (no need for tranny, your h23 tranny fits)
h22 ecu (p13)
take pictures
same engine mounts, same wiring, just make sure you get an obd1 h22

and to run 3 wires from the vtec solenoid to the ecu harness
