You say that now, but when you get one the world of bittorrent and porn opens up to you and soon you're having to manage that meager 1TB.

I'll consider it when I build my server in the future, but for now I'm not even using 1/4 of my 180 gb HD in my desktop. haha
1/4 of that is porn.
About two years ago I spent 4k on a MacBook pro.
I also have an eeePC 701 that I bought as soon as I could get my hands on one. I added Bluetooth to use my hsdpa enabled phone to get internets when I was traveling. It made a good setup, as long as you kept in mind that it was designed to be small and disposable.
Eee's are great, but they're not a replacement for anything.
