I don't know how I feel about a 12 year old female assassin. However, i still get warm fuzzies thinking about Natalie portman in the professional. Lol

I think the potential moral dilemma is what makes it appealing. I am a fan of gray area type movies.

Eric Bana is the man, I think this movie looks pretty kick ass.

Anyone see Eric Banas movie about racing his old ford in the Tazmanian something race?

love the beast Love the Beast (2009) - IMDb I liked it.

Yeah I'm thinking Hanna is sort of like a loose sequel to The Professional or at least compliments it. Not saying they're related, but in The Professional she learns how to become an assassin, and in Hanna the girl puts learned skills to use.

I saw a preview for this a week or so ago. Seems interesting, but the style screams wait for DVD in my mind.

I haven't gone to the link so I'm going to assume that this is a movie about Hanna Montana becoming an assassin and that it somehow is actually good. ^_^

Did anyone else see this? I saw it yesterday. There was some kick ass action for sure, but overall it gets a "meh" from me. From the previews it seemed like a more European and less big budget Hollywood-flavored type of film (which it is), but surprisingly the plot is pretty thin and it's mostly just action.

There's also a weird, sexual type of tension to this film (I guess you just have to see it to understand), but I'm just not quite sure why that element was included...

Saw it last Saturday. Decent action, but not really what I was expecting (a cross between a Bourne movie and The Professional). The movie tried to hit on too many issues and the pace and camera work was meh. The first 20 minutes of the movie are the best, and I wished the rest was like it.

And ditto on the sexual tension thing. Again, I don't know why it was included in a movie like this. I give it a 6.5/10.
