Okay i just put a short ram on last nigh. I started the car up and it turned right over. Reved it alittle and couldnt really hear a diff. Well I get up this morning wanting to hit some curves with my new intake. I go to start and i had to hold the key on start for 5 sec. It started idling at 500 i gave it a little gas and it jumped to 1500. Is there something i did wrong here? I always though no matter what part you get you should always get your car tuned for that addition. Is that the same for even a intake?

reset your ECU. Unhook your battery for like 30 seconds, then hook it up again and let your car idle for 5-10 min. The ECU will detect the change and compensate for it.
