Has anyone done this swap?

I was just wondering if anyone has tried swaping a d17 into a crx or civic? Anyone know any of the pros and cons of doing something like this? I also wonder if a z6 or y8 head would bolt up to one of those blocks. If anyone here knows any of these answers it could help all of us that still like the d series but want a little more displacment.

pros- none
cons- wiring nightmare, the mounts are different, theres almost nothing to gain over a d16, d17's are redheaded stepchildren of other d motors, they are quite different and parts are not readily interchangeable, the fuel system is different (return vs returnless). theres just no point.. im sure someone, somewhere has tried it, maybe even succeded.. but why?

I was kinda thinking of trying a d17 block with a z6 head if that would even work. If the mounts are compleatly different then I guess it's not worth trying that idea. Thanks for your reply.
