Looks like you were running a bit lean...


Someone else's pistons looked like that, after the self-proclaimed 'God of Tuning' tuned their car and it turned out it was WAY too lean...

some of you know what I'm talking about :ph34r:

But yeah, at any rate, unideal air/fuel conditions can, from time to time, cause chunks of your pistons to free themselves from the tyrannical rule of the piston and casually make an exit through your exhaust.
 
i didnt even see the chunk out of the piston. lol, i was looking at the hole in the sleeve inbetween those 2 cylinders, lol.
 
i traded a 89 hatch that needed alot of tlc for this block and a b18b head complete besides i am going to get another b16a block as soon as i find a head
 
we call that a product of detonation. That is either a really lean tune or a high timing problem. both of which would happen by ricers lookin for LEET CHEEP POWER
