Have a question about a B-series swap.

Hey guys, this is my first thread and id like to ask what is the best motor to swap into my 1997 Civic EX. i was looking at the B16B for the most HP right away, plus i like the high revving. any advice is appreciated. i plan to do road races, no dragging so i figured the H-series would be too heavy for my application. Thank you.

well for what your going to do with it the b16b is the best choice. its a awesome motor and i think its the best of all b series motors,

K thanks man, most of my performance experience is with 8 cylinders, so this is a new ball game for me and i need about all the help i can get. i have been reading alot on the subject though.

How difficult will the swap be? i know i have to get a new transmission, but will i need any thing else?

well when you buy the B16B it will come with a lsd tranny and ecu. other than thats all you will need is linkage 2 motor mounts and axles, just use 99-00 si axles,its a super easy swap make sure you get the b16b tho this is the best place to get them Specializing in JDM-USDM Engines & Parts...hmotorsonline.com
