Shield Zone has a sale on through the end of today:

24.95 off an order of 50.00 or more. add crap to your cart and once you get to $50 you'll see the discount.

if you haven't heard of these guys they have some pretty slick sh!t cut specifically for pretty much every electronic device out there, that when applied you don't notice but completely protects your gadget from scratches/scuffs, etc.

i have it on my ipod and my cell, and i totally love it. they have it for laptops too..$40ish gets you one of those, so if you got that and something else you'd actually end up with both items for $25. can't beat that..

the only thing i don't like about these covers is if they get a little loose they tend to trap in sand/dirt and fuck your screen

my phone isn't just for sunny days

i've had my cell protected for over a year with one of these; if you put it on good you got no probs. my phone goes in and out of tight jean pockets, gets tossed around in my car/jeep, gets jumbled up in my purse w/keys and other goodies, and i don't have any peeled corners or anything. I've dropped it a few times too.

no dirt, no scratches, no probs. same goes for the ipod.

    just sayin.

Universal sheets from radio shack: FTW. I have 30 of these things for the Helio for $5.

Now if I can find a hardcase for the Ocean, I'll be happy. But I'm thinking of doing a simple steampunk rig for it, both on my belt and on the bike.

That looks pretty nice, i'll keep that site bookmarked for sure. I currently have a film over the front & rear of my 80g iPod and a hard plastic case over that, lol....I want to keep it as nice as possible for as long as possible.

    Thanks for the link!

They need to make some of these for the Scion xB. That thing picks up paint flecks and damage like a mis-handled Pollack.

I just got one of those cheapo invisible shield knockoffs from Ebay for my 60gb 5g iPod and it has been great. Been on there almost a year and it doesn't peel or get caught on anything. I never understood why people would put stupid looking cases on their electronics to protect them. If you're going to make it look stupid, why buy an ipod at all. Apple put a lot of work into the design and to ruin it with a cheesy cover seems counterproductive. Shit, it's going to break in a couple years anyway, just try not to drop it and you'll be fine.

i can get that for anything.

we use that for clearbras on cars.

we did my co-workers ipod like a month ago.
the nifty thing is, his screen was already scratched, but when you put the clear on, it covers and fills all of that in, so they dissapear.

and we dont use a "special solution"
    just water to activate it.

im gonna do my phone and expensive ass camera too.

I haven't found the custom cut model for that 10 year old japanese girl in my basement.

She's getting gusty, and I keep having to run hot water over her to get her pliable again. IT might be nice to have some sort of laminate instead.
