having trouble looking at secure pages

i been having trouble lately looking at secure pages on internet sites. i cant log in to use my ebay acct, gmail, trouble getting into my yahoo email addy and some other sites. does anyone know what i can do to fix this? i have my Privacy settings set at "medium" and on the Advanced Settings, i have it set the "default" settings under "Tools" located in my IE. thanks!

first i'd suggest firefox

if not, try this patch

that patch didnt work because i got SP2.

anywho, i cleared my history, cookies and temporary files out and that didnt work. i then found this page: helpful page

it suggested that i turn off my firewall. i did that and everything works now.

yup! all works good now
