I got a free set of new torque to yield head bolts for a D-Series engine. They have twists kinda like threads all the way down the shaft.

I'm wondering if these are any better or worse than stock non-torque to yield bolts.

I know head studs are the best but I'm just curious.

Thanks.

Ive seen those kind and regular without the "twists" in them and have never had a problem with either, just make sure you go in the right sequence and use the proper torque on them.
