How do people do it? I've seen quite a few pics floating around the internet in which the head is set up backwards

the only benefit I could think of from top of my head is the engine running a bit cooler because there is no hot ass exhaust below it, and the exhaust being shorter.

any ideas? :/ ^_^

WUT?

you can't flip a head. lol

b/d/h series engines are all 'backwards' from normal spin motion. the transmissions match this rotation.

k's went more normal with the exhaust at the firewall side like you'll see on the neon's and most other other fwd cars.

B, you CAN flip a B-series head. ive seen it done, it was mentioned in another thread and theres videos of cars running like that.

i really dont know the extent of work required to make it work though.

figures, I didn't read it because it was a disckskate thread.... lol

interesting. I've never heard of this being done.
more so, why?

reversing the spin of the engine (to the same direction as most other engines) allows you to run a wider assortment of transmissions without having 1 forward and 6 reverse gears

:shrug2:

doenst really seem to have a non pro-level application
