head gasket compression issues

ok.. this is the 2nd time in a week i've ripped apart my head to reaplace the gasket b/c the bastard doesn't seem to be sealing.....

the first time we did it.. the car would barely start... chug.. and shut off when we let off the ignition... we comp tested it and it was at 30psi at the first push... then about 60 after a couple


so we did the gasket AGAIN.... this time making sure everything was perfect. I comp tested it before work yesterday... and it is at the same damn level.....
i was wondering if it is sposed to be that low, or something else could be horribly wrong....

Could it be that ur head is warped?? Did u drive it often while over heating? or did u remove the head while warm? A warped head has some of those symptoms.
