how do u know if your head gasket is bad

not so sweet smelling white smoke out exaust (burns nose, eyes water)

so what sure i do then replase the head

what you (should) do is remove the head and inspect it and the gasket.

An automotive machine shop will check the head out for about $150

and tell you if its still good or if you have any bent valves "D"
