I have a b18c in my 94 hatch. I just got ARP head studs.

do i torque the studs into the block before i torque the head bolts onto the head?

Use the search button or buy a helm manual...

The studs come with instructions. First you hand tighten the studs in the block, then you put the head gasket on the block. Next you put the head on the block, last you make sure that you lube the nut with the ARP moly lube they shipped you with the studs and tighten them down. There is a two pass process for tightening them. I don't remember the numbers, but your first pass is at one torque setting, and your second pass is at the final torque setting.
