Hello, Newbie with a power question!

Hi i've just recently bought a 1990 gen 4 civic gl. Its a 1.4 8v with dual carbs. Basically i love the old school looks but was just wondering which is the best way to go if i want power gains? I've used the search option but keep coming up with nothing so i would appreciate any help you guys can give me. Im not looking for anything lightning fast just want more power.

check out the dohc zc (1.6) or d16a6 (Si motor, also 1.6) motors. they will both bolt onto the tranny you already have but an si tranny would be a lot better. the zc has around 130 hp and the d16a6 has 108 i believe so they would be pretty huge improvements over a 1.4.
