I have a h22 swap in my 92 prelude. it cuts out at 5000 rpm ! does anyone have any idea why???? swap was just done cheaked all vacuum lines and wiring is correct!!

double check your wiring.

By 'cut-out' I assume you mean you're getting a rev limiter.

If this is the case double check the wiring especiallly the VTM wire.

The same thing was happening with my H22 hatch but it was at 2000 rpm. It was my TPS that was not on right. Check your TPS and make sure you get about
.5 volts with throttle closed, and about 4.5 volts at WOT (wide open throttle).

If your not getting a check engine light it could be your wiring. My h22 cut out at 3500 when i first got it put in. It was wiring.

My bad wiring let to:
Fried injectors
Fried ECU
Countless $$ spent asking myself wtf is wrong with it.

Siezed engine

Starting over and got my wiring done professionaly with iabs and egr.
Lesson learned.

Ok, so jump your service connector and read the code. A chilton's manual will explain this for you. If you don't have one, post again.

The code will point you in the right direction.
