i need help remove the coilover form the rear of my car but am have some problem help i have a repair maunl but it's not helping what do i do can u point in the right way

pull up the carpet in the trunk... find the top of the tower. loosen all the bolts holding it into place. get out, take the tire off. there is a bolt that goes through the bottom of the strut/shock. take it out. then go back into the trunk and take all the bolts off. the strut will fall out. then take an impact wrench to take of the spring compression thing and it will come apart. take the coil off and replace the shock/strut. you'll need to take the assembly to someone with a spring compressor to put it back together. hope this helps.

94 honda civic dx the all the bolt are rust on what the easy way t get them off so i will not break them i use pb

try WD-40 or liquid wrench..

thanks i will try this but i have a brokeing bolt on the control arm in the rear

shitty... drill it out and put in a new one.
