ok i recently thought about buying a 88 CRX shell so to speak.

it had some sorta a B16 i guess((the engine blew i guess)), im kinda new with the whole engine swapping but i was wondering what would be the most affordable Vtec i would be able 2 pretty much bolt in? id get the old blown engine with it, and im guessing it has all the mounts and axles, is there a cheaper Vtec engine then the B16 that i could just drop in there? and just the old B16 mounts and stuff?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

the b16 is the cheapest vtec engine. if it already had a swapped b16 then its a straight swap.
