    Help!! Clutch not disengaging...why?

OK, I parked my car at my house after driving it and I take my girlfriends car everywhere becuase me and her were hanging out. I get home, try to move my car and it doesn't want to go into gear while the car is on, now when the car is off it will go in gear all it wants. I try to put it in reverse while car is on and it grinds, the rest of the gears don't grind, it just doesn't want to go in. So I checked my resevoir, it was empty..I found the leak, fixed it and bleed the system...still nothing. I bleed it about 50 times, pumped the pedal a few times, opened the bleeder screw to let pressure out while holding the pedal down, and repeated until the fluid wasn't milky anymore or their was a strong stream pushing out. The shift fork moves just fine. I don't know what it could be considering I didn't physically do anything different I just parked it...and it was driving fine. Please help me! I havn't taken the transmission off yet becuase its outside and still cold and its a PITA to remove the tranny. I have a 1992 honda civic and its got a D16Z6 rebuilt in it, brand new clutch has maybe 150 miles on it. Now, there is a small leak I think on my cap to my reservoir would that be causing that much of a pressure difference? It was doing fine with it before...
    Cliffnotes:
-car won't go into gear when car is on
    -Bleed the clutch system
-Shift fork moves when I push clutch in

Ok, I went outside to try something and I can put the car in gear but I have to almost shove it in there. I shift to 2nd and the wheels start spinning (I have the car on jackstands) and the mph moves up. I still can't put it into reverse without it grinding, so I stop.

Sounds like maybe a master cylinder, or the pressure plate. But thats my guess, I dont kno that much so dont take my word for it. But thats kinda wat happened to my bro's teg and it was the master cylinder. Its not hard to replace. I think like two bolts and a pin.

you might have broken the hub on the clutch when you installed it. if you did then it wouldn't shift into gear and you will need to replace the clutch.

it can run for a while after its broken you might have just cracked it when you were installing it and it just finally came all the way off.

Ok, I changed the slave cylinder, bled the system and I get a nice stream of fluid out now, clear as can be...I have full pedal and it still acts like it doesn't disengage all the way. I havn't taken the tranny off yet cuase I want to make SURE that is what I have to do..The axles spin when I have the clutch pushed in all the way and its in gear. Why the hell is it not disengaging!!!! I didn't beat the hell out of it or anything. Please help!

I looked at the throw out bearing and its still on the shift fork...so I am gonna go to the junkyard and grab a new master cylinder and install that and hope it works..if not looks like im gonna attempt to pull the transmission.

    same problem

yeah i am having the same issue with my car right now, when the car is on it wont go into any gear, grinds trying to go into reverse, this is right after doing a clutch replacement, went to test and this happened. so now i am thinking that i did something to the clutch :( i sure hope not but i have started tearing apart the tranny to get it out again and will hopefully find out soon.

I had the same problems that you are describing, though mine didnt work at all, not after a little while. My problem seemed to be that me shift fork wasn't pressed on all the way so while it moved, it didn't move properly, now after making sure that was on all the way when i try to shift it will go into gear, though it still takes a bit of force. I think when I did my install I still did something wrong because my brand new clutch still slips :( so I might have to take my tranny off for a third time.
