i have and ls vtec in my 96 civic and is running obd1....i need help adjusting my idle....how do i fix that.....i tried turning the screw on throttle body all way down...but the only helped a little bit....if any tips reply asap....thanx

Check the adjustment on your throttle cable, it is the cable that goes from your gas pedal to the throttle body. If it is too tight your idle will be high, as if you have your foot on the gas.

;)

i dont think its the throttle cable because it is loose enough where theres no tension....

Try pushing your throttle closed with your hand. You could have gunk in the TB that is keeping the butterfly from closing all the way so it is idling high. If that isnt the case, maybe you have a failing FPR. THat will cause your car to idle high.
