thug it i found a set up for just about 820 on ebay my question now is will my car still beable to pass smog if i turbo charge it ?
 
depends on where you live...

and you need to buy something to tune it with and get it dyno tuned, otherwise you definitely wont pass and it will probably blow up.

sorry wrong question what i ment to say is fix a CHP asks me to pop my hood and finds that i got a turbo car and sends me to the state reff what wil happen ?

has anyone barrd a ebay turbo kit in there car ?

buy a kit that is carb approved.
that's the ONLY way to be 100% legal.

No your car will not pass Smog... Friend tried and failed. Now thankfully the guy was chill with him told him take the turbo kit off.... run N/A stock stuff and it passed, next day threw the kit back on. Not saying you should break and bend the law like that, but inless you want to get an aproved kit, its what someone elts has done!
