That first pic looks like my garage floor.

People ask me "How is that you have 90% of a Toyota Celica and 80% of a Toyota 4Runner and a significant chunk of a Subaru Brat in your garage ?"

I also have half a Vega, 34 tires and 8 motorcycles in the garage.

im pretty sure that my car is missing atleast half of the parts it came with... i didnt know anything about cars when i bought my hatch, and since then have learned that it really is a miracle it runs as well as it even does.

its not a problem to have spare parts left over when working on a car
and its not a sign of doing anything wrong... quite the opposite in fact
if you have a shit ton of parts left over and the car still works... you have improved on the design and actually made the car more efficient

Yeah, I always end up with extra bolts though, so I keep them in my car *in case something happens,* but so far, I've been good to go.

I think I do things like remove the AC condenser bracket and keep the bolts and think they go somewhere else, and then get paranoid like I am now.
    Damn.
