is it a jdm d15b with vtec?? if so you will need harness and a jdm p08 ecu, you can use a usdm p28 ecu but its not the same as the p08. the motor seems to run a little better with the p08.
Are you sure it's from a 96-00 Civic? To my knowledge all 96-00 Civics had D16s, even the DX versions, unless the motor you have is some obscure JDM or EDM thing I've never heard of.
