Help! On Timing Belt Asap

    I think my timing is wierd. when i turn my cam sprocket to the position up, which says it on my cam sprocket, the rotor in my distributor cap points to spark plug #4. What should i do now?

    Take off the distributor, spin the little tooth thing that spins with the cam 180 degrees, put it back in and you should be fine. Remember--Honda I4 engines fire 1-3-4-2, so you're 180 degrees out of phase. Just spin it!

    That distributor should only go on one way. And if the timing was that far off the car wouldn't be running. Perhaps some misrouted plug wires...?

    was it tuned/timed with a timing light?
