Help with clutch for a 92 civic

Just a quick question, I'm wondering if the clutch can be adjusted easily because when I release it it is really far back on the pedal, not sure if that makes sense but it's like it doesn't have alot of play on the pedal. It a 92 civic eg harch by the way. Any help would appreciated thankyou

sounds to me like your clutch is shot. usually what a late engagement means is that the material is worn down from use and abuse. youll need a new clutch more than likely
only way youre going to know for sure is to make sure the hydraulic system is bled properly, and if thats good and its still not acting right youre going to have to pull the transmission off and take a look.
