Help with D Series Vitara setup

Ok, I was thinking of going with the vitara combo Vitara Pistons/Eagle rods in a D16z6 motor. But then I decide I wanted a D15B JDM motor 1.5 VTEC 130HP. Question is would this setup work just as easy if I was putting it in the D15B? Would I just be better off going with the D16z6?

The pistons wouldn't make a difference - you'd have to use D15 rods though, and as far as I know Crower is the only company that makes D15 rods and they're like $800. You'd be better off going with the Z6.
