help with engine swap

hi everyone, put a 1.5L (d15)into a civic which had a 1.6L(b16) ,need help getting it to stay runing with obd2 pcm. made everything fit - knock sensor,got it running, but stopped ,thought timing was off but its not.thinking dist.may be off , will try to get it running tommorrow, any help appreciated.

Are you using the D15 ECU or the D16 ECU?

Using b16 ecu.

A DOHC ECU for a SOHC motor is a definite problem.

You should definitely get the correct ECU.

hi to all, only have ecu from vehicle, the car must run with that ecu, too much work already to make it run with same wiring harness, and don't know where the engine was purchased from so i could see if i can get the ecu for it , any ideas are appreciated.

if u want from a B16 dohc to a D15b engine, u need a P2E ECU, I have one here at my house I would sell for like $40+ shipping. But it will not run right with out the ECU as all the timing maps r off ect ect

I'm curious
