help wont start

i have a 1990 crx dx. no mods or anything. i was driving out of my driveway it backfired and stalled and wont start back up. any ideas on what this might be? we checked the distributor for continuity between all the pins, the timing belt is good, good spark plugs, all the fuses are good, the fuel pump kicks. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

ok we took apart the distributor and the rotor spun off so that was the problem. :worthy:
