How do i download this vid?

I have to do a project on U2 for school and wanna show some Music Vids. I can get this vid to play but cant dl it .

akamai is a server system... they are weird. you won't ever save that without some sort of stream ripper tool.

try another website, i'm sure there's 34233523342341312 u2 videos on the freakin net

yeah, akami is hard...takes me an average of 10 minutes just to get the DL set up, and i still need a stream ripper.

you tube, no, they are flash vids.

My hard drive crashed this weekend (guess how happy my boss was) i used to use something like WMR (windows media recorder) i think. It was decently easy. i think i was able to dl akami hosted stuff with it.

I don't know of any all-in-one tools to do it, but i can get them and convert them for you.
I used SoThink SWF Quicker and SoThink SWF Catcher along with Total Video Converter.
All you need to do is-
http://YouTube.com/get_video?video_id=XXXXXX

Then you can download the .flv file,
and use "Total Video Converter" to convert them to MPEG or AVI or whatever format you want.
(Pm if you need the cr4x for TVC)
