What's up? Basically, I've had issues with my car lately and it's not reliable, so instead of buying another used car from a lot, I've decided to save up for a 4th gen accord 5-speed and put in an h22a to make sure it's reliable and for some speed as well. I had an eg with a d15b I swapped into it and it was reliable forever until I wrecked it and had to sell it.
I was reading the sticky on the 4th gen h22a swap sounds pretty easy, but I have some questions.
1. What kind of exhaust system do I buy for it? Would an f22 exhaust work with the h22?
2. Do I use the same f22 mounts?
3. Is there any need to do an OBD conversion?
4. Rywire has the plug and play vtec harness available like with the D-series swap I did, right?
5. The transmission in the 4th gen accord is already hydraulic or do I need to swap from cable to hydraulic to use the h22a?
