highest compresion

ok i was wondering what the highest compresion ratio that i can run on pump gas. If it maters it wil be on a d16 y7 or y8 im not sure which one im building yet

with very good tuning you can get away with 12.5:1 or so

What is available where you live? Calesta ran > 13:1 on 93.

No, only 12.6:1. You CAN run 13:1 compression with good tuning though. There was a guy on the D series boards running 12.8:1 on California piss 91 octane gas, and I know of a few people who were running 13.4:1 or something on 93 octane pump gas. It's all in your tuning.
