I am not saying I care if you take yourself out doing stupid shit on the highway, but if you are doing stupid shit on the highway in traffic you are going to take someone else out.

So because you don't care about anything you can do what you want on the highway?

anyone who has ever done it knows that driving 100 miles an hour in traffic is a hell of alot funner than racing at a track.
its more of an adrenaline rush, and adrenaline is the only reason i race.
the riskier the situation the more of a thrill it is.

you obviously have never been to an actual road course track event
1/4 mile is quite possibly the boringest thing to do in a car other than sitting in bumper to bumper traffic

you will cause the death of someone with your dumbass actions..... i hope its only your own

retards like you are the reason imports are frowned appon by the general public

ASSHOLE

Hey Firestone has the million mile casing dammit. Bad retreads cause tread failure.
Sorry, but Bridgestone/Firestone paid for our last managers meeting and I had to learn so much shit about OTR tires. Ill share my notes with anyone who is interested hahah  !! Id still be more worried about people changing their tires or even taking a piss. Or what about the asshole that you are trying to pass in the emergency lane when he decides to push you off the road, how do you explain that one to the cop peeling you out of the trees?? :)

Technically the 6th you fucking forgiener :p just kidding bro.

Damn, :owned: by eight hours difference, haha.

The racing in traffic was fun when I was sixteen then I grew the fuck up and got outa traffic and stopped risking other peoples lives for my pleasure. Join the air force and get a real rush lean to fly a plane and nothing on the ground will ever come close again

It's people like you that made the insurance rates in Colorado skyrocket by an average of 50% over the course of one year and caused me to drop my otherwise great insurance company because they couldn't keep up with the national carriers. :bash:

kinda related to the topic .... plus i thought it was funny as hell

lol, this is too damn funny

street racing is the whole reason why this damn website was created, street racing is the whole reason why we are all here....

noone that i know of or can think of is into the import "scene" because they saw some imports at a track and that it was cool. ive been racing for years now and have never come close to being in a wreck. apparently all you that have wrecked or have come close to wrecking dont know how to control your damn vehicle. i have been on this board for a very long time. and for the most part i am in no way a moron or an asshole. not everyone has the option of going to a track to race. i work 3-11pm every single day and the nearest 1/4 mile track is 4 hours away. i have been to the 1/8th mile track that is about 45 minutes away, but even on there "import night" there were less than 10 import cars there. its about 3 miles off an old highway on a dirt road and its nothing but a redneck get together.

and if everyone on this board is so against street racing why is there a kill stories forum?

i am in no way irresponsible. my license is suspended and i pay 216 a month insurance on a 10 year old car. i pay for my own actions and am in no way trying to run away from my responsibilities

That has got to be the most unintelligent, moronic thing I've heard in a long time.

I got into my car because I had always been into Hondas. My first car was an 87 Accord hatchback. I bought my 95 Accord with no thoughts about modding it. I bought it because it's a damn sexy car. Then my buddy (lsvtec) bought his LS Teg and started modding it. Before I knew it, I was doing the same thing. While I may take off from a light quick and take it up to 80 or 90 from time to time, I never race in traffic, nor do I endanger others' lives.

YOUR suspended license and sky-high insurance rates affect MY insurance rates. I know how to control my vehicle. I have a nearly-clean record. Your irresponsibility (along with the other street ricers) directly affects everyone else's rates.

umm hey guys, the reason insurance rates are so high is because we give kids licenses at 16 and let them loose. In Europe it is INFINITELY harder to get your license, and it shows. People over there know how to drive. My cousin from Portugal says people passing in opposite lanes, instead of freaking out, just do the sensible thing - move over to the shoulder - and act like nothing happened. And there are roads like the autobahn with ferraris blazing by at like 125 mph. That is faster than most any street race I know of.

So before you go blaming your insurance rates on street racing, and all that, look at the root of the problem. People who can't drive in the first place. I don't want them on the road period - never mind racing.

The Autobahn is very different from a residential or semi-residential feeder road where street racing sometimes takes place, with curves, pedestrians, and other hazards.

But I agree, the lax attitudes and restrictions we have here in the States regarding who we give licenses to definitely contribute to high insurance rates.

*sigh* i agree with micah, but not because he's my friend. How many people on this board have never been in a street race?? I've rode with micah in heavy traffic, and last time i checked a 40mph collision never killed anyone...and 40 is the fastest you're going to get in heavy traffic in panama city. If racing is so damn bad to do, how come you guys NEVER flame ANYONE in the kill stories forum?? Blah, this is pointless you're just going to argue. If you dont like people talking about driving fast dont go to a website centered around racing/modding cars to make them FAST/or has a kill stories section.

Hypocrits.

the "kill stories" forum is there to keep bull shit like this seperate from actual how to technique
sure everyone has probly street raced to some degree... but there is a difference between racing on an empty road or highway, and racing while swerving through traffic
