FALCON PUNCH!!!

San Andreas teaches me that it's okay to be sexist, racist and murder prostitutes?

WHAT?

Well, I guess this is to be expected. School shootings always make people pick up the torches and pitchforks. Remember Columbine? Oh, anyone that wasn't NORMAL or played Doom and Quake were potential killers.

Yep, got a list of people right here that I am gonna blast with my BFG from 30 feet in the air.

Wow a great way to spend 90 million dollars. Seriously I grew up watchin IT, all the chucky movies, playing GTA, hunting, playing football. All of that and have i killed anyone? Nope. Threated to kill someone? Nope. All of that is a lame excuse for people being bad people. If I ever cause an accident Ill blame it on Fast and Furious, GT4, hell even Nascar Thunder. Yup they rot my brain and make me get in car accidents. Maybe ill get off with some comunity service.

Thank god The PMRC, and Christian Coalition didn't have any real sucess back in the 80's or there might be some weight in the public eye to this nonsense.

It's sad how quickly people find scapegoats to defer blame from their shitty parenting.

"Oh noes! Little Billy shot his teacher! Forget that I always told him I hated him, it must be that damn playstation's fault!"

hmmm, they seem to forget that the games they are bitching about are rated M, for mature. Meaning that kids under 18 shouldn't have them anyway. Its the parents/store's fault they are getting into the hands of kids. I think the root of the problem is that Americans are willing to blame everyone else before themselves for their mistakes.

EXACTLY

why can't parents just be parents, instead of letting their kids veg in front of the TV

and if you thought the game would have a negative effect on the kid why the fuck did you let him buy it/ play it in the first place?

you're the fucking parent, take it away, take the playstation away, whatever

i'm so sick of the world, i'm moving out

I'm all set to start terraforming Mars... all I need is several billion dollars and the required technology... anyone wanna donate?

retarded. 99.9999999999% of the people play the game for fun and once they turn the Ps2 off, back to reality, and the .0000000001% of people actually see as it making it ok. Why ruin the fun for 99.99999999999999% of the people because one fucktard in the world. And isn't GTA rated M for mature which means you need to be 18 to buy them? Ah yea. That means porn should also be shut down because a kid might see it and think that it is ok to screw anything that moves.

I had this argument with my family over the spring break at home. that shit came on the news and my grandma was like, i dont see why they let them make these games. my response was, "Games have ratings just like movies, and therefore shouldnt be played by kids under the age rating". my mom tried to say shit too, but in the end i won.

its true. Why the fuck do parents let their kids play them. What a lot of parents dont realize is that video games ae no longer just for kids. they think since its a video game, its okay for their 4 year old to play. the same parents that let their kids play GTA would probably not let their kid go watch a PG13 movie or an R movie, but they dont see how they contradict themselves by doing that.

Parents are pussies nowdays. I hate seeing the parents that cant control their kids. Just like that show Nanny 911. WTF? spank your fuckin kid and they will learn, or sit their ass in the corner for a few hours and they will learn. I see parents every day at my work who let their kids tell them what to do. The parent will order food for them and the kid will throw a fit, so the parents will end up letting them eat a fucking sundae for dinner instead of real food. hell no, i woulda got slapped for acting like that.

theres gonna be a lot of problems when these little bitch kids become parents, especially since we cant even spank a kid anymore because its "child abuse". fuck that im gonna slap the shit outta my kid if he talks back.

:cliffs:
Parents need to be parents. Discipline your fuckin kids.!!

Dude, you guys have no idea how much that shit my girlfriend sees in her GameStop. Parents will come in to buy San Andreas for their freaking 10 year olds and they all say the same thing, "he's just going to play it at his friend's house anyway" or "there's nothing I can do about it". What? Correct me if I am mistaken, but aren't you the fucking parent?

So, ok, other than locking the kid in his room till he is 21, how would you stop them from doing things you say not to? I mean really, Kids will do what they want, not what you tell them, all of us should know this, I mean really, how many times did you do things your parents told you not to do growing up?

It's not telling them what to do and what they can and can not do that makes a parent a parent. It's teaching your child to know and appreciate right from wrong, and what he or she shouldn't do, and having them make the right descision based on your examples.

Yeah, but not buying M rated games for your 12 year old still goes a long way in preventing them from being fucked up. By buying that shit you are telling your kids that the game is appropriate. So what if they play it at their friend's house, at least they know that you (the parent) still disaprove of the game and they also can't play it all the time.

exactly, in the same way its like a parent buying beer for there highschooler. If you buy it for the kid, that is telling them that the parents don't give a fuck if they drink. Yea he can go over to a party and drink, which will happen, however the kid knows to come back home sober or avoid the parents because they know the parents will disaprove of it.

I couldnt agree more.

Everybody just wants to play the blame game, nobody wants to own up to their mistakes.

We'll keep the guns out of the children's hands if you keep the bibles out of their throats.
