ho muh boost can i run

i just wanted to know how much boost is safe to run on an stock h22a motor.which one is better a supercharger or a turbocharger for a daily driven car looking for around 260whp

psi doesn't matter. power level and fuel management do.

5 psi out of a dinky turbo is nothing compared to 5 psi out of a large turbo.

and turbo > sc's

h series motors dont like boost as much as b series. Mostly its tuning though...get your shit tuned right you can run just as much boost as a b series. there are guys running 8 psi stock block. I personally wouldnt run that much on an h though, just to be safe. you should look into a turbo kit. off the top of my head i know the fmax turbo kit for the h22 claimed to put down 300 hp.

you need to figure out the power level you wish to achieve, the CFM's required, fuel management, the accessories you want to keep, and good intercooling.

You could make 350 whp easy if you do everything right, so 260 is a simple goal.

Go with a larger turbo. Much more reliable and powerful with .2 seconds more lag.
