Don't you guys just love how some of the posts are started with such a "catchy" title like this one, only to have all of the advice you give that person shot down? I swear, I laugh my ass off when the very knowledgeable people on here give the no0bs, or just those seeking guidance their personal advice that at times, has come from trial and error, only to be blown away by them.

"Don't tell me how to spend my money." "It's none of your concern how I spend my money." "I'm only doing this until I can do what I really want." "Just shut up and give me advice and quit complaining about what I do."

Those are just examples of what I see from people that refuse to do research on a freakin' topic and their particular goals. At times, it makes me want to shoot them in the face with a bazooka when I see the legitimate and good advice most of you give shot down. Then again, at other times, I just sit back, relax, imagine about their engines blowing up or something going wrong, laugh, and having them come back asking why something went wrong. haha

The bottom line is, people, if someone offers you advice that YOU have solicited on here, just say thank you. That's it. Plain and simple. In the case that you should NOT want the advice, then how about just, to quote Dr. Evil "zip it!" :D That is all.

For those of you that do take the time to answer posts and give advice, I TRULY thank you and appreciate the advice you give...even if you did tell me to put a stick of dynamite in my exhaust as a way to make my car go faster.

    Carry on. ^_^

thats why i put an AIM on here that i rarely login. So people can try to all they want, instead of just posting in the forum, and get nowhere until they post.

I usually get, "hey your username is z6crx, do you know how to do that swap?" So what gave them the first clue ;)?

I've never AIM'ed anyone with any type of anything. haha That's funny. I can just imagine that you're just sitting there, relaxing online, when all of a sudden you get "hi, my car doesn't go fast enough now. can you make it go faster for me? i have 300 dollars." That must be great, Jeffie. haha

That's a really good way to annoy the hell out of someone I would think. If I want to know something, I'll do the research and/or start a thread after I've found out as much information as I could.

Heck, I'm all about helping someone if I know what they need but I don't know about just randomly IM'ing people with blinker fluid questions.

What's the "weirdest" or most "common" question you guys get?

I used to get the ims but I haven't in a while. It helps to have a different screenname on here than my aim.

Yeah I get that a lot too. It's like they just look around and see who posts a lot and then send them a PM. It's funny (well, sad actually), because they could spend that time looking around deciding who to PM actually reading shit and maybe finding answers to their questions! :disgust1:

I usually don't respond unless they've actually got an open thread and it appears that they've at least tried to gather some information on their own before they PMed me...
