4 blinks of the CEL from scanning ECU. I posted about this in my original post but thought I'd make a separate thread for anyone who may have missed it.
Trouble code 4 indicates a problem with the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP)...any ideas, any experience. Could it be something very minor we are missing.
The ECU gave us two codes, originally 4 & 15. Apparently 15 has been fixed and 4 keeps coming up. Here's what we know....the timing is right, we've replaced distributor rotor button, wires, etc., exhaust manifold, oxygen sensor, throttle position sensor, starter, battery. We've reset the ECU/CEL but then 4 comes back and the CEL will come back on when the car is driven near 3K RPM.
Thanks.
Andrea
