look ma! no torque
it makes a wopping 239 lf/lbs of torque.
I'll take two.....
forget k-series, let do the RA806E swap, that'll make for a fast civic.
why are they so fast...is it the weight and the 18k?
18k rpms ftw!
remember, power is a function of torque and rpms...
hp = (torque x rpm / 5250)
so, at 239.b/ft at 18k = roughly 820 hp
but i'm sure the peak torque is lower than 18k... peak torque is never at redline, unless you're in a diesl... lol
so, its probably 14k peak torq. 17k peak hp, rev limit at 18k
so at, 14krpm peak torque, its making 637hp.
i'm gussing it tops out at 750 hp...
try 900, and as for torque.... you only need as much torque as your car weighs.... hp is what keeps you moving, and hence the 7speed gearboxes they have along with the fact that itll basically rev the shit past 18k... I am pretty sure the torque output has no bearing in the real race.
