Honda GRX Hybrid

I went to the Detroit auto-show saturday and found the new GRX hybrid.
1500CC v6 hybrid...?
and i wonder wtf?
It comes pre-rice with green/blue interior

Dont like it overall, but I really think that the idea is there.

however a 1.5l v6... WTF!

Just reproduce a 1.6l I4 that gets 45 mpg like the ones from the early 90s

It's not a V6... read the description in the 2nd picture!

I'm sure they had a reason to go with more cylinders. Don't call the engineers stupid!

One of the reasons I'm sure is the fact that they used a motorcycle engine. It's probably quite a bit more compact (and lighter) than the car-based 1.5L 4 cylinders that they have available to them.

Werd its a flat 6, not a v6. Small displacement with many cylinders usually means ultra high revving.

If they tone it down a bit for the market it will be great. Imagine taking all of those dramatic lines and softening them down a bit. Nice design.

word id buy one. now by hybrid do they mean gas electric or its just takin this and that and making a new car. imagine the look on the supra guys at the track when u pop the hood an they see a boosted 1.5l i6 that revs up to 13k. im down for that.
