Is it possible to put a honda s2000 engine in a 1997 honda civic and if so would you have to change the axels to support addtional power? Also how much of a speed difference would it be from an integra type r engine? I was also thinking of a prelude sh engine. But i've found all three engines for the same price. And finally how long do you think it would take to put any one of those engines in my honda?
    Thanks

no, it's an easy swap. just get the whole swap. the stock s2000 axles are fine. you'll get the s2000 ecu if you buy the whole swap too.

    you sure are.

if you post an answer that will lead a n00b in the entirely wrong direction, it will make them learn more about it.

they will start trying to buy/build and find something that makes them say, "hey, this isn't right." and then they really start searching.

but to ask a dumbass question that has been asked a million times, they need some support.

or you can be an ass and just say something totally random that will make you laugh to yourself while staring at the comp. either way, it will get them to pull their head out. i'm not like blanco and going to take all my time answering something over and over again. i'm not that nice.

And if that's not enough power for you, you could always mount the S2000 motor up front and then buy an H22 to mount in the trunk and have it driving the rear wheels. That way you'll have mad horsepower and all wheel drive! Just grab yourself a P28 ECU; it's more than capable of running two motors at once without even chipping it...

Seriously nubs, at least spend 5 minutes researching before asking dumb questions. There are tons and tons of great articles on this site. And there is also plenty of times in the past where dumbasses have asked this same question.

@s2k swap: if you have to ask, you can't afford it, nor to you have the knowledge to pull it off.
