would any TB work on any honda? ie B16 SiR2 TB on say a D16z6? WHat needs to be done for it to fit
 
i believe D series on a D series, B series on a B-series. so no they wont work b/c that have different IM's for different blocks.just bore ur D series TB out, and u should be fine.
 
Rule of thumbs....which is generally correct. B-series interchanges with B-series. D-series interchanges with D-series. :sleep:
 
it costs very little to just bore it out and get a new plate for your current tb...buddy of mine paid 70 for his, but also if you startout with a larger bore you can get it bored out larger than as opposed to a smaller diameter bore TB, example would be a tb that is 54mm, it can be bored out to like 58mm but if you start from 58 you can go higher..see what I am saying..
